LG Managing Director Inkwun Heo, together with #TeamLG, gave the donations to Pastor Junie AntiƱero of Shelter of Hope. "It is our privilege to be partners with Shelter of Hope. The bravery and strength of these children is something we can all look up to. To be able to give them happiness, no matter how small, is a goal that we constantly work towards for." Mr. Heo said.

Pastor Junie gamely accepted LG's gift. "We are deeply grateful of LG's unwavering support for our cause. I, and more importantly the children, really appreciate it". After the donations were given away, the children from Shelter of Hope gave the audience a heartwarming treat with a moving performance.

Smart appliances have been in the market for a couple of years now, but have they truly lived up to their name? While TVs, speakers, refrigerators, and other home appliances offer a slew of connectivity options, they have to bring something new to the table, otherwise it’s just more of the same. LG Philippines wants to let their products do the talking.

LG’s vision of a truly smart home is powered by its proprietary ThinQ AI technology. “LG ThinQ uses knowledge drawn from data analytics and machine learning algorithms to understand the user’s patterns and preferences,” said Inkwun Heo, Managing Director for LG Philippines. “As it adapts and learns from the user’s behavior, LG ThinQ products will ultimately evolve to anticipate the user’s needs and deliver heightened performance.”

All of LG’s newest products have been engineered with the future in mind. Each one is powered by the AI ThinQ technology so that the difference home appliances can communicate with each other to actually offer an indispensable and genuinely helpful system. Artificial Intelligence however, is but just one feature.
To showcase how the new smart devices seamlessly blend with everyday life, LG commissioned new brand ambassadors who come from different backgrounds, proving without a doubt how these appliances are made for everyone.

Steph Zubiri-Crespi, a long time LG loyalist, boasts how the Twin Wash saves her precious time by being able to do two loads simultaneously. She recounted an instance where the “pause” and “add item” function was a lifesaver. Cristalle Belo-Pitt on the other hand, absolutely adores the LG Instaview Door-in-Door refrigerator. Simply knock twice on the sleek glass panel to illuminate the contents inside without opening the door, reducing cold air loss to help keep food fresher longer. Its modern French door design is an entertainer’s delight with storage options such as the Extra Space compartment for your small or loose items, and a retractable shelf for your taller and oddly-shaped items.

Marco Gumabao raves about the LG Black Two Door Top Freezer he’s been using as it offers a blend of timeless style with the latest innovations, maximum storage space, advanced digital temperature controls, and exclusive LG technology. While Benj Alves on the other hand, is nostalgic about using the LG Black Turbo Wash 3D as he was used to do everything all by himself, laundry included back when he lived in Guam.

LG’s new smart devices are also perfect for families. Dani Barretto-Panlilio loves the Stacking Washer/Dryer Front Load since it makes sure all of her clothes are clean and safe for her newborn baby. “Everything’s really easier with LG. Another thing is thanks to the use of steam, I’m confident that dustmites, bacteria, or allergens will not get to my baby.”

LJ Moreno-Alapag has been juggling 3 kids and household duties so the LG Two Door Top Freezer has been a tremendous help. Thanks to the Multi-Air Flow System, superior humidity and temperature levels are maintained, keeping your food fresher, longer. Digital sensors constantly monitor conditions within the refrigerator and strategically-placed vents in every section to help surround your food with cool air no matter where you put it.

As far as reliability with Commercial Refs are concerned, funnyman Michael V is all business. To safeguard your investment, all of these refrigerators have a 10-year warranty for its Inverter Linear Compressor and the Smart Inverter Compressor, as well as a 2-year warranty for parts & service courtesy of LG.

Acting as the captain navigating the AI ship is LG’s SmartThinQ App. With the App, you can control all of your electronics and home appliances anytime, anywhere with just a touch of a button. With the widest assortment of wi-fi enabled appliances and one app to manage them all, LG makes managing your smart appliances easy. Thanks to the ThinQ AI technology, the more you use your smart appliances, the smarter they get by remembering usage habits to better anticipate your needs.

What exactly can the App do? For starters, you can do your laundry while you’re stuck in a meeting. SmartThinQ technology lets you start and stop wash cycles remotely, get notifications when your laundry is done and receive helpful reminders about scheduled maintenance. In the peak of summer? Use the LG SmartThinQ app on your smartphone to turn on your air conditioner from anywhere, ensuring you arrive to a cool home.

The unveiling of the LG G7 ThinQ in the Philippines in its new flagship premium smartphone, at an exclusive launch recently event held at trendy bar and lounge Yes, Please.
Combining exciting innovations, a sleek design, and stunning display and sound with LG’s intuitive ThinQ AI technology, the LG G7 ThinQ takes the smartphone experience to unprecedented heights. The LG G7 ThinQ comes with a Super Bright 6.1-inch display that, at 1000nit is brighter than any other mobile phone screen. This, along with the phone’s AI-powered operational and creative features, a Quad DAC feature that provides distortion-free sound, and a hardworking camera, offers consumers a better user experience all around.
LG has always striven to provide products that makes the daily grind easier for its consumers. In the LG G7 ThinQ, this principle is reflected in the Hotkey, a button on the side of the phone that activates Google Assistant with one tap. Holding down the button will allow for instant conversations with Google Assistant, and will allow the user to search the internet, open applications and remotely use the phone on voice command (LG has worked with Google to come up 32 new Google Assistant commands). The LG G7 ThinQ also sports Super Far Field Voice Recognition, which allows it to hear commands for Google Assistant up to five meters away.
During the launch, LG invited gadget website Yugatech’s founder, Abe Olandres, to explain how the LG G7 ThinQ’s AI-powered features can provide beneficial advantages to everyday life. As Abe explained, the phone’s AI CAM helps deliver an unprecedented smartphone photography experience by recognizing an object and automatically adjusting settings according to what it sees. The phone also has 19 different color and contrast filters to help enhance results. All these features combined makes capturing professional-quality images a truly effortless experience for everyone.
To fully display how the G7 ThinQ delivers the ultimate camera experience in a smartphone, LG commissioned a short video from up and coming director Mikhail Red, whose latest film Birdshot won the Asian Future Best Film Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival, and was the first Filipino full-feature film to be included in Netflix’s inventory. The video not only demonstrates Mikhael’s skill and dexterity as a director and photographer, but showcases how the LG G7 ThinQ’s camera delivers a higher range of details, more vivid colors and striking luminance when capturing both moving and still subjects. Mikhail’s video also demonstrated how the LG G7 ThinQ enables the Super Bright Camera feature in a low-light setting, resulting in clearer, more focused images, or how the camera supports depth-of-field Bokeh effects with a Super Wide Angle feature.
Superior sound is also another LG G7 ThinQ boast. The flagship smartphone has a Boombox Speaker that, as demonstrated in the launch, increases the base sound level by more than 6dB with twice the amount of bass. Translated in layman terms, the LG G7 ThinQ packs more than 10 times the loudness than that of a typical smartphone.

“LG is pleased to introduce you to a smartphone that will take you beyond the limits of your imagination, and bring you closer to the things that matter in your life,” remarked Mr. Paul Jeon, LG Philippines’ VP for Mobile Communications. “The LG G7 ThinQ reflects a new era in smartphone design, the beginning of new AI-powered services and the gateway to a new way of thinking.”
